Franz Josef Marty expanded his parents’ small business in St. Pelagiberg, Thurgau, into a carpenter’s and joiner’s workshop.
The first Marty single-family house using timber construction was built for a fixed price of CHF 21,000.

Healthy growth necessitated a change of location. New factory in Wil, St. Gallen

Conversion to a family-owned private limited company

Establishment of a permanent customer centre exhibition
